Permissions Galore!
Bourne Rural has achieved a flurry of permissions lately, which means a lot of celebratory cake in the office! In the last few weeks, we have achieved the following for our clients:
full planning permission for a temporary rural worker’s dwelling to support an agricultural business in West Oxfordshire;
full planning permission for another temporary rural worker’s dwelling, this time supporting an equestrian business in East Hampshire;
prior approval for a Class Q agricultural to residential conversion in West Oxfordshire, made under the transitionary provisions allowed in the recent update to the GPDO;
prior approval for another Class Q agricultural to residential conversion in New Forest, but advanced under the amended provisions allowed in the recent update;
full planning permission for an outbuilding to the front of a property in a conservation area in Test Valley;
full planning permission for an equestrian stable barn on a greenfield site in West Oxfordshire; and
full planning permission for the change of use of a building from Class E to B2 (general industrial) use in the countryside in West Berkshire.
We have also received two positive pre-application responses, one relating to a large and varied farm diversification scheme and the other relating to the conversion of a traditional stable building to ancillary residential accommodation serving a Grade II-listed dwelling. These responses will be helpful in forming the basis for any future full planning application for these schemes.
We are delighted that we have been able to provide our clients with successful outcomes and wish them all the best in implementing their new permissions.
