Planning Consent Granted for New Build Holiday Let in Cotswold AONB

Bourne Rural Planning Consultancy has secured planning permission for demolition of an old agricultural dutch barn and the erection of a purpose built holiday let in the style of a dutch barn within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  

West Oxfordshire District Council initially advised within the Pre Application response that the proposal would not meet planning policy but Bourne Rural were able to demonstrate the proposal did meet planning policy requirements through a functional link to a particular countryside attraction and that the proposal supported the diversification of an existing farm business.

A strong planning argument with attention to detail and a well-designed proposal (excellent work by William Green Architects), was key to achieving this successful outcome for our client.
