Hard Fought Battle for Haulage Yard in Oxfordshire
Planning permission has finally been granted for a client in Oxfordshire to use his agricultural yard in connection with his haulage business.
This has been a long time coming for our client due to the disappointing behaviour of officers at the LPA resulting in an award of costs for our client at the appeal. The lack of support from the LPA has resulted in an inability for our client to develop this well-established business to its full potential at a time when there has been a strong increase in demand for the services he offers.
It was a team effort to finally get this over the line and the successful outcome relied upon the strong collaboration of our team of experts, including Trevor Furse of Furse Landscape Architects, Casey Griffin of Griffin Ecology, Adrian Cannon of Tayler & Fletcher and Scott Stemp (Barrister) of No5 Chambers.
We were absolutely delighted to finally secure permission for this change of use. Our client was rather delighted too, acknowledging the “amazing job you have done”!
