Racehorse Training Yard Update

Bourne Rural had the pleasure of visiting Downs House at Epsom Downs Racecourse this month to see how construction is progressing for the redevelopment of the racehorse training yard. Planning permission was granted in 2019 and allowed for the the erection of a U-shaped stable building with 58 loose boxes, a storage barn, equine pool, wash boxes, all-weather turn out, horse walker, canter track and accommodation for trainers and workers.

It is fair to say that this will be an outstanding facility - and what a location for it. Bourne Rural are proud to have been a part of this project.
